  2. Was following you on twitter. I don't take your trades, but instead look for the direction of your calls which are useful to me since I seem to have a hard time determining market trend especially today which seems pretty choppy, and then I use my own system to take trades. It looked like Friday you were right in predicting long and today for your last trade, you were right in predicting market is short.

It looked like from what I saw on Friday, you made money, but you are reporting some losses from Friday or is that for today? Anyway congrats on the guts to post live here. I just took a 1 point short profit but my stop was 2 points since I planned to added 1 contract to short in case I was incorrect on my entry, but I only took .25 heat on the trade. I could have gotten 1.5 points, and maybe I should have used that as a target if my 2nd contract did not fill since my risk vs reward was not good for this trade.

Ouch, I hope this just the result of having a long bias today, and not your trading plan failing.
it looks like you gave the stop on the last trade to much room.

End of day I had a short signal here and thought for sure the market was too low to short and there'd be short covering that would trap me in the trade and stop me out, plus I almost never trade at the end of the day, so I shorted @ 1036.00 just for the hell of it in my sim account and covered @ 1031.25. Another $2300 toward the sim Ferrari :p

  9. PCP198,

The account has been experiencing some challenges in the last few days. In order to maximize returns in the account, I made a small adjustment to exits today. This small change had a HUGE impact today and got the account over a hurdle today.

    Thanks for the post,

  10. NoDoji,

A difficult part of trading is not having a bias, but instead allowing the market to tell you all that it has to offer. This was key for the account today. The market was telling me the exit strategy wasn't proper for the current market conditions. With a small adjustment today, the account really had a fantastic day!

How do those sim Ferrari's drive? :)
