Obama has insisted the bill be passed as submitted with no changes. McConnell agree to a straight up vote on the bill but Harry Reid has blocked that vote. Do the democrats want the bill passed or not? They seem unwilling to allow it to come to vote at all. Maybe they prefer to assign blame...to the republicans and stoke the fires of class warfare. This strikes me as a pathetic strategy that exhibits zero respect for the electorate. As Boehner said, Obama has stopped working and has begun to campaign full-time. His only goal is to be reelected.
