Founding Fathers never were concerned with private entities handling of free speech.... I think your social studies teacher is rolling over in his or her grave since you missed that lesson
The Founding Fathers actually debated the free speech concerns in regards to privately owned newspapers and what controls should the government have over information in them. They decided that the government should not regulate the information provided in papers -- no matter how nonfactual or scandalous, This was driven by earlier British attempts to control the press and the adoption of the first amendment as part of the Bill of Rights. This debate was also re-visited leading up to Jefferson's first term -- due to the extreme information being published in some papers about politicians and political parties. Still the freedom of the press won the day.
Rookie? He knew more about politics than any of the politicians he said. I remember he was nearly laughed out of court in Scotland when he told a judge he was his own expert witness in tourism in Scotland. A 48 year old Trump went to Epstein for his sexual needs.

'So this is really a lot, you know. This is not just our civil liberties. [Big Tech] can shut down a billion-dollar company, half-a-billion dollar company overnight.' Apple, Google and Amazon banned Parler from their app stores on Friday due to a failure to moderate 'egregious content' posted by users related to the violent siege last week. The article says Further research shows what "opt out" means ... https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/opt out I don't know if not accepting $14.5 million to sit on a bench was a mistake or not, but I do know he hasn't played football since opting out of his contract. My opinion is the lack of playing was partially political and partially Kaepernick disagreeing with the NFL that he should be a starting quarterback again.
What these idiots in big tech companies does not realize is that by their fascist means, they only spurred more competition. That will result in technology beyond the reach of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Twitch, Snapchat, etc. More competition not less as there is a tremendous demand now for social media platforms that protect freedom of speech.
Facebook announced Monday that it would remove all content that includes the phrase “stop the steal” leading up at least to the presidential inauguration. The social media giant said it is “treating the next two weeks as a major civic event,” and using precaution following last week’s fatal siege of the US Capitol, it said in a statement. “We’re taking additional steps and using the same teams and technologies we used during the general election to stop misinformation and content that could incite further violence during these next few weeks,” the statement said. The announcement comes less than one week after Facebook suspended President Trump’s account indefinitely — and said the site is not allowing “any ads from politicians, including President Trump.” Twitter said last week it had permanently deleted Trump‘s account. By Facebook now banning the use of the phrase “stop the steal” the company is shutting down Trump supporters’ rallying cry behind the president and his claims that the presidential election was fraudulent and that he rightfully won re-election. Trump’s last public appearance came on Wednesday, when he held a rally near the White House as Congressional leaders prepared to certify former Vice President Joe Biden’s election victory over Trump. Hundreds of Trump supporters then converged on the Capitol, shutting down the proceedings and putting the nation’s capital on lockdown. Authorities said five people, including a police officer, died in the siege, which caused severe damage to the historic building. While putting restrictions in place leading up to the inauguration, Facebook said it will add a digest to Facebook News “for people to find reliable news about the inauguration,” including live video of the ceremony on Jan. 20. “We’ve had emergency measures in place since before the US elections, such as not recommending civic groups for people to join,” the company’s statement said. “We will stay vigilant to additional threats and take further action if necessary to keep people safe and informed.”
