oh THAT whooosh too bad paris isn't into humanity like rest of us scalping the next tick. shame on her
Ehh, in Russia, your average person can get away with a lot lot more. It's not even comparable, US is the one with the communist rules now. I suggest you re-read what the penalties are for a simple DUI/DWI across the states. In some states, they are attempting to classify it as attempted man-slaughter. Some people have been sent to prison for it. As for license suspended, let me tell you a story. In college, my license was suspended for a leftover 25 bucks on a traffic violation ticket ( I was making partial payments on it and was under the impression it was paid off). I was stopped in a roadblock, yes, a real life roadblock where everyone's documents were checked. Since I was driving on a suspended license, I had to go to court, but it was pretty much set in stone that I was going to have a suspended license for 1-3 years, on top of hefty fines. Reasonable? No. Out of the ordinary? No. I never said that the sentences are reasonable, but Paris's is not out of the ordinary, far from it. OH REALLY? How about a 17 year old skinny white boy being thrown into a Texas state pen (90% black) for setting a garbage can on fire? Isn't he a special target? Shouldn't we put him in a special cell? Oh wait, that would mean we are giving special treatment. And we cannot have that. Only for celebrities, because in that case, we are being humane. Get the f**k outta here with that bullsh*t. I'm sorry, but I cannot respect such rationale. I say throw in those celebrities into general population and have them experience what the prison system really is in this country. Maybe it will start real prison reform. Every year, hundreds, if not thousands of harmless people get thrown into hardcore prisons as lamb to the slaughter. Many don't survive, and it's very obvious who is likely to be dead or turned into a piece of meat just on appearance alone. Get over your Paris crush. You're making her out to be the victim, while the media are the bad guys. Yeah, they just showed up at her door one and forced her to create this image. She NEVER EVER EVER did anything to put herself in a spotlight in such a negative way.
The state where I live in has made a new law where the 5th DUI within 10 years will result in a felony. So... drunks have 4 chances to kill innocent people before they do time. I believe this is not stiff enough of a sentence. Too many DUI's allowed before serious consequences. They were going to have it 5 DUI's in 7 years but I guess that would of cut into their booze tax revenue. Or too many would end up in jail. Can't have too many drunks in jail! They are money makers!
Now that we are swapping stories, let me tell you one. Quite a long time ago I was driving without insurance because I had let it lapse for a whole week. (Stupid, yes I know...) Well, some arseholes pulled a stop sign at a 4-way stop and then pulled out right in front of me (and some friends) where I could hit them and they could get a new car and I got shafted into paying for their car and had my license suspended for three years. Immediately after the accident the Police had the sign put back up before I could get any pictures of the sign being down. So, I had no proof of it ever being down. Of course the other idiots testified that the sign was up all the time. So I don't trust the Police, the State, or the idiot drivers out there on the road. As far as Paris's sentence being too harsh, why did the Sheriff in this case think it was and let her go home? Are judges always smarter in these cases? Are they always as close to reality as Policemen?
OH REALLY?... Tossing a white 17 year old into the state pen was probably a good idea since arsonist's usually keep on going until they burn as much as they can . They are pretty sick dudes. Now for Paris, driving down the road to get a hamburger isn't quite the same thing would you say? And are you sure Texas prisons are 90% black? I do believe they have quite a few Mexicans there. Maybe they are all picking fruit like good boys and girls? So if you think Paris shouldn't be put in a special cell, then I assume you believe that policemen and politicians shouldn't either. Hmmm.... who would be a bigger target... Mr. Policeman, someone like Spiro Agnew, a celeb like Paris OR: The usual guy or girl who ends up in jail for a REAL crime. I see you mention prison reform. Putting Paris into the general population so she can get her throat slit is not going to reform anything. No crush on Paris. I actually think she is too skinny and her face isn't the hottest thing in the world. I just think she got the "Celeb Shaft" As far as the media, they stink like crap. They are like vultures at a picnic. Same with the paparazzi. Paris IS in the spotlight because OF the media. Do you remember the OJ trial, ect? The media feeds off these things. This is how they make their money. Feeding off the carcass's like vultures. The judge in this case over reacted. He knew his butt would be in the spotlight. He wanted to show he was a real man I guess. They all do because they are pricks.
The police came to the accident scene and you didn't point out the missing stop sign? And you had witnesses in your car also? How does this work?
