Paris! Paris! Paris!

  1. But isn't she in a part of the jail where celebs, cops and politicians
are held? Or has she been moved to the general population?

If she is in a Celeb type jail by herself in a cell, she probably has it
    easier than the average Joe...

Still, 45 days is a waste of cell space for someone driving without
    their frickin' headlights on...

And as far as giggling.... no big deal. And being late... no big deal.
(Imagine this in Jack Nicholson's voice)...

All judges are assholes in my opinion. They are more jaded than cops.

  5. Disagree and one must be aware that the justice system frowns excessively on ignoring the sentence handed down and that includes the suspension of driving privileges that she received. It is seen as open defiance of the Court, as was the failure to obey the Judge's order to attend alcohol education class.

She ignored that sentence once and acknowledged in writing that you cannot drive on a suspended license. And then goes and commits the same crime again, this time doing 70 in a 35 with the lights off. On top of this, she shows zero remorse and accepts zero culpability in front of the Judge by blaming someone else. She got another break, half of the maximum sentence.

  6. You people need some basic logic skills. Stop forming your opinion as a reaction to someone else opinion.

It's pretty straightforward. She was put on probation only this year. She failed to comply with her probation. That means jail time.

NOW, we bring in the other issues, like driving on a suspended license again after signing a paper that fully acknowledges that you won't do it again. Also, speeding 70mph in a 35mph and having headlights off in the middle of the night.

It's fairly obvious that people here do not understand probation and what it means. It's also obvious that you people keep wrongfully thinking that Paris got jail time for a DUI, when this is not the case. This b*tch went beyond not complying with her probation, she stepped way over the line. On top of that, she did it in a manner where it's obvious that she was not taking her sentence seriously. There is no DUI issue, she received standard treatment for her DUI offense.

She is not even going to real jail, at worst, she was in a special detention center for celebrities, now she is at some rehab/mental hospital. Please, the rest of USA would be doing backflips if they had to do their jailtime where Paris gets to "suffer".

Now if she simply did not comply with her probation and the judge was trying to lock her up for missing the drunk driving course, then I would agree with the Paris lovers. But that is far from the case.

Fact is, she is still getting off very easy. See, some average folk end up being thrown into jail for 30-60 days for a DUI or driving on a suspended license. And they happen to run into hardcore criminals on their way to the pen there. The results are sometimes a pain in the ass (pun intended).
After all that, they have to deal with a 2-3 year suspended license and insurance surcharges. No chauffers in that reality.

What they should do is throw Paris into general population for a week. That would set her straight. Drop the rest of the penalties (as if they matter anyway), just throw her into general population for even 5 days.

  7. Damn, after reading this last post I think we should throw this Bitch
to the Lions as all women are bitches and should die.

Some of you have it right. Maybe we should even lop off her head.

    A beheading! A public beheading ! That's it! Let's do it!

And when it is YOUR daughter's turn, we will give her no mercy. None.

Why no mercy? Because they are all bitches. Even our daughters.

Maybe we could even rape them and stone them to death.

Whatever it takes to get them to stop driving on a suspended license.

  8. Damn, after reading this last post I think we should throw this Beautiful Rich Celebrity
A huge party as all women that are Beautiful Rich Celebrities should never be prevented from living the Beautiful Rich life.

Some of you have it right. Maybe we should even have a National We Love Paris Day.

A National Public Holiday! That's it! Let's do it!

And when it is YOUR daughter's turn, if she has money and fame. We’ll do the same thing. All of it.

Why this wonderful treatment? Because they are all Beautiful Rich Celebrities. Even those of our daughters that have done Internet Porn Movies.

Maybe we could even put them on an even higher pedestal and make them even more famous.

Whatever it takes to get them to be allowed to drive on a suspended license or break any other laws of their choosing— anytime they want!

  9. PH is another excellent role model for young girls and young women. The young'ns over time start acting like PH and her cohorts and men start bitching like ladies about where have all the good women gone.

10-20 years ago, behavior like PH's would have destroyed a celeb's career, now it catapults them to greater glories.

Whether the sentencing circus is fair or not, I don't care. PH has brought all of this upon herself and kept making it worse with more violations.

PH from the beginning should have known what most people know. Everyone in the real world knows that impaired driving endangers the innocent. Anyone who cares about more than just themselves knows enough not to drive intoxicated and to take a cab, designate a driver, use their chauffeured limo. Get a clue PH.

  10. Why the anger and insults? I think I have a grasp of the justice system and what probation means. My point is simply that the sentence was harsh, given the fact they let violent criminals and serial drunk drivers walk. I think a day or two would have gotten the judge's point across.

My main objection, however, is not the sentence but the unseemly glee of people like Sean Hannity. I'm the last person who would take up for a celebrity, but I find it offensive to see supposedly serious people high-fiving each other over this young woman's misfortune. She hasn't hurt anyone. Would they be even more gleeful if something bad happened to her in jail? Is that what they want?
