I am just saying you can't compare the P/E of one stock vs the P/E of the index. Your comparison of TSLA 2020 vs Nasdaq 1999 is a false comparison. But anyway, I don't care too much. Bigger bubble. The composition of the NASDAQ-100 in 1999 looks virtually nothing like the current index composition. I think that it's fair to call it overbought in 2020 - call it a 'bubble' if you want. Other than the name of the index, though be careful about comparisons.
same with the dow and the sp500 and we still had bubbles if anything the composition is even worse off financially and from a growth persepctive and we have the knowledge of hindsight from the 2000 dot com bubble that shows us exactly what this ridiculously engineered index of tech stocks can do when it really decides to sell but sure the compositio is different. btw i havent called the nq or any of the stock indexes a bubble since 2014 so i dont use the term lightly and I am also not saying that the bubble has popped at this point but I am not sure anyone with eyes would look at chart of the nq since the end of marc of this year and nto see the bubble effect the froth the euphoria the sheer cash and liquidity that is in the system well people are even greedier when it comes to losing it especially the algos and the professionals they didnt run it up this high to just fork over solid gains to godl member robin hood shorts. they will load up on puts and sell the hell out of it soon all we need is a really good catalyst and even then after awhile that will be a good buy signal. amazing so many have just sat on the sidelines for this huge 10 year rally then finally now after the 2008-2009 crash they are like omg look what i am missing i need to buy some stock again and just then which is now.. the pros are licking their chops thinking about those hampton mansions and are going to lock it in by selling which will also give them the nest effect of being able to buy lower shares later which will indeed boost the dividend percentage high enough to make it worthwhile to finally take those long term capital gains taxes. But im just a tradeking a mere mortal in an electronic world

Speaking of continuing parabolic moves tesla added an entire gm market capitalization today. An entire GM.... At the rate its moving it could be worth over $3 trillion in 2021....yes the most valuable company in the universe. A company that sells cars. WAIT EV cars to be exact.
It was a worthless company after the dot com bust. NO ONE WANTED IT. The loan came literally at a perfect time for them to keep going while the others failed. Amazon won't be on top forever. Go back to anytime in history, we can name hundreds of companies that are either struggling today that were once leader of the world and companies that were significant to the world that are non existent today.
