I recently received this in an email from a friend: To All My Friends, I know a few of you are anoyed with me over my views about Obama, please read this and ask yourself if I can afford to put this person in the white house. This is long, but very important, please take the time to read it. This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking 'where did the money come from for Obama'. I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan . During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children wou ld have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap! to say the least. Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago ? Why not New York ? He was already living in New York . By 'chance' he met Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association'. About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School . Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School ? Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented 'Rezar' which Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, R ezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko. Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz , Iran ! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy? On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with 'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'. Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East ? And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim faith'. When questioned, 'he make a mistake'. Some mistake! All of the above information I got on line. Dear Friends, As you can see, a good friend of mine forwarded to me a letter she received from a friend regarding some questions she had about Barack Obama. I tend to get a lot of these 'political' emails lately, but this letter appealed to me as I too had wondered on prior occasions exactly how this self-described 'lower middle class kid from a broken home' was able to afford an education from both Columbia and Harvard. I know he has said in the past that he used 'student loans', but having administered the government student loan program for one of the largest banks in the southeast, I can tell you that the amoun t one was able to borrow under those programs was very limited and in NO WAY would have covered the tuition alone, much less tuition, room & board! This letter was filled with facts that seemed incredulous to me. I am a skeptic by nature. After reading the letter, I decided to check out the 'facts' that were outlined in the letter. I was very familiar with the 'politics' as practiced in Chicago when Obama first started working as a community organizer on the south side, as I was living in the downtown area at the time and got very involved in the city's 'political machine'. In fact, I eventually ended up leaving Chicago in the summer of 1988 BECAUSE of the toxic environment and racial divisions created by the leade rs in the city government at the time. Imagine my surprise to find out that the 'facts' as outlined in this letter were, in fact, true. My biggest question I guess is like everyone else's, WHERE IS THE SCRUTINY OF OUR 'FREE PRESS'??? Why is it that we hear these things only 'by chance'?? After 9/11 we found out that not only did 3 of the terrorists responsible for that terrible day live within 3 miles of us, but the most heinous one (Mohammed Atta), worked out daily in the same gym I worked out in. I probably passed him everyday and yet never realized the danger that lurked 'beneath'. I guess we are all naïve to think that things like this could not happen in this country. And Obamas friend and advisor Valerie Jarett is an (American) who was born in Iran. Her father was American doctor born in Wash DC , and her mother was American doctor born in Chicago. Valerie Jarrett parents were in Iran when she was born, but only there to run a hospital for the poor. I am very curious too about Obama roots and background.
The really interesting bit from his background to me is why he went to Chicago after college. He had no connection to chicago at all. The guy who researched this subject and wrote a book on it believes that Obama was sent to chicago by his radical mentor at columbia to see if Obama could actually walk the walk as a radical. His mentor? Bill Ayers of course. After Obama proved himself, the pieces begin to fall into place. Obama gets important backing at every stage of his career, from getting accepted into Harvard Law to getting a job running Ayers foundation despite no experience to his charmed career in local politics. The one hopeful sign is that Obama has shown little in the way of reluctance to backstab people who helped him when they no longer serve his purposes. Perhaps he will not be a puppet president for Bill Ayers, islamists and marxist radicals like the ACORN group. If the American people want to run that risk, that is their prerogative, but it would be nice if they were actually aware of it.
You change your mind when you get the day's talking points from your bosses at the Obama campaign. That's obvious to everyone here, and it's why no one bothers with you anymore.
First you state the obvious, that the above is a theory, you explain the theory and you draw actual conclusions of Obama's character directly off of what you admit to be just someone conjecture (and a poor one at that). lol
The so-called theory fits the facts. The facts themselves are very unusual, leading to obvious questions. Why would Obama go to chicago, a city he had no previous connection with? How did he manage to get accepted into the most selective law school in the country? How did he pay for all this stuff? Why did Ayers appoint him to run his foundation, if they had no previous connection? Why are all of Obama's past assiocates so loathsome? The biggest question, why is Obama so desperate to squelch any examination of this?

No one condones Ayers' actions in the 60's, but the fact is that Ayers has been a force for good in the Chicago Area. And one more example is the way Senator Obama's opponents are playing guilt-by-association, tarring him because he happens to know Bill Ayers. "I also know Bill Ayers. He worked with me in shaping our now nationally-renowned school reform program. He is a nationally-recognized distinguished professor of education at the University of Illinois/Chicago and a valued member of the Chicago community." The fact is that you guys are having a tough time with the Ayers issue because its so damn thin. He met the guy when he went to Chicago where Ayers was involved in all sorts of community work, of course Obama was too. That is their relationship. Don't take my word for it, go read. then you would have everyone think Ayers is a terrorist like Osama bin laden..except Ayers is a teacher/philanthropist. Its amazing to me that you can string all these random questions together and pretend they actually mean something. Basically you are saying this :" Obama moved to Chicago when he didn't know anyone there, he also went to Harvard and we don't know what the basis was on his acceptance, and we don't know how he paid for school".
