Palin Resigns as Gov of Alaska

  1. 1. Without hesitation I'd rather have Palin as President than Obama (or Biden who will finish Obama's term). Obviously you're into the whole socialist shtick of bailouts, anti second amendment except for street gang shines, amnesty to illegal spics, the elevation of culture debasing Hollywood/Wall Street jews, and the homosexual marriage thing. I'm not. If your love affair of a President who takes advice from people named Emanuel and Axelrod makes you feel superior then more power to you.

    2. Except for Israel-and let's face it Paul is an anti-Semite-I can't think of a single issue Palin and Paul disagree on.

    3. Who gives a fuck if she (or anyone) is worldly or articulate. Obama is well spoken-at least as a reader of teleprompters -and he's an unmitigated disaster as a President. Calvin Coolidge was nicknamed "Silent Cal" and he was one of the best and beloved Presidents in history.

    4. The money I've paid in taxes should give me 50 votes for every free loading, on the public dole supporter of Obama.

And where's Volker these days? I guess an an ex-Federal Reserve Chairman who fought inflation isn't exactly en vogue with this administration.

“The one-time central banker has been put in charge of a presidential advisory board that hasn’t yet had a formal meeting. It has been nearly a month since he has seen Mr. Obama. Mr. Volcker hasn’t been a main player in key decisions handling the global financial crisis.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner unveiled the administration’s plans for handling troubled financial institutions and the housing crisis without seeking input from Mr. Volcker, associates say. “Paul was surprised” at the failure to consult him, particularly on issues of financial rescue after his dominant role in resolving financial crises in the 1980s, says one person who has spoken to Mr. Volcker recently.”

  3. Hate to say I told you so, but... I told you so.

The Vanity Fair article points out that although the majority of the Republican brain trust has figured out that Palin as President is a stupid joke, she still commands some respect among the... well, let's say the less intellectually gifted among the corps. Politics in the U.S. has descended to a level where her feral instincts can serve her pretty well. She doesn't have to have any actual leadership skills to be a factor.

There's a hilarious Youtube compilation of the top ten clips that reveal how truly ignorant she is. It's pretty instructive. Katie Couric just demolished her, more than once. Apparently she didn't know that Africa was a continent. She thought it was a country.

I'll just say that one more time. She thought Africa was a country. Yes, that makes her a good candidate for POTUS.

Whoops, I forgot! As we just heard from one of our beloved extremist right wingers above, "Who gives a fuck if she knows Africa is a continent?".

Looking for reasons for the waning of U.S. hegemony? Look no further.

You judge Palin's intelligence by a total of 5 mintues of time out of a whole year.

She was speaking everyday all day long for her run for office. Yet, you judge her by 5 minutes of clips.

If you trade everyday are we to judge you if you post your 5 worst trades.

If you had a higher education you would not be so impressed with these degrees. All us who have been there or are in contact with upper educated people understand they are not really smarter. They may have more discipline and in a way are more subordinate to conventional thought.

You without a high school education could not be aware of this.

Here is an insight : don't think someone is brighter because of their education
