  1. The United Nations' cultural agency decided today to give the Palestinians full membership of the body, a vote that will boost their bid for recognition as a state at the United Nations.

107 votes turned up in favor of Palestinians, while 14 were against the membership bid, BBC reported.

UNESCO is the first U.N. agency the Palestinians have sought to join as a full member since President Mahmoud Abbas applied for full membership of the United Nations on Sept. 23.

The United States, Canada and Germany voted against Palestinian membership. Brazil, Russia, China, India, South Africa and France voted in favour. Britain abstained.

Cut all aid including military aid to Palestinian Authority, Brazil, Russia, China, India, South Africa and France.

Next time France can figure out how to fight their own Libyan war for oil. How many billions did that cost us?

  4. Mayb the UNESCO is calling the bluff of the zionists who cry from the tops that the US would cut. What if there is no cutting or if there is no impact of the cutting?

  5. US funds 20% of UNESCO and it seems they have cut them off indeed.

  6. So this turned out to be a good thing?

Maybe we should hope they are allowed to join the UN. then we coudl cut off all US funding for the UN too.

  7. I agree.

    We need to
    1) give money to drugs lords in Brazil to create havoc
    2) give money to Chechens to keep the Russians busy
    3) give money to Taiwan to get weapons to piss China off
    4) triple our aid to Pakistan to piss India off
    5) bring back Apartheid to South Africa
    6) bomb France

Israel is our best ally ever, and these pathetic 6 countries must be punished for defying the will of the Land of God's Chosen People.

  8. You don't think Unesco serves a good cause?

  9. I am in favor of people who like it supporting it with voluntary contributions.

I can find nothing in the U. S. Constitution authorizing the expenditure of funds to subsidize international organizations. When we are discussing cutting programs like social security and medicare, we cannot be wasting any money, no matter how little, on useless organizations like the UN or UNESCO.

  10. Palestine, Israel and UNESCO all a complete irrelevance in the great scheme of things yet people are getting worked up into a lather.
