You belong to Yemen, you said yourself that your tribe was originally from Yemen, before it joined the crusaders, wiped out local population and settled in SYRIA, not even in Israel. And btw during the partition the land predominantly populated by the Arabs was allocated to the Arab state while the land predominantly populated by the Jews was allocated to Israel. This is well documented and undeniable. Moreover, arab land/property owners who happened to reside in the Jewish partition retained the ownership of their property and their land according to the rules of the partition resolution and Israeli laws. Of course when they decided to join arab armies against Israel all bets were off.
The bulk of the proposed Jewish State's territory, however, consisted of the Negev Desert. The desert was not suitable for agriculture, nor for urban development at that time. The Jewish state was also given sole access to the Red Sea and the Sea of Galilee. The land allocated to the Jewish state was largely made up of areas in which there was a significant Jewish population. The land allocated to the Arab state was populated almost solely by Arabs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1947_UN_Partition_Plan#The_proposed_division
Perfect...So you violated the partition agreement and decided to steal land from the Palestinians by starting wars. And how many times have I told you to shove wikipedia up your ass! Would you like me to go to that particular link and change it to say that "the land was largely made up of areas in wich there was a significant a Dinasour population"?? Stop being stupid man. Beside nazi boy, what happened to "We made the desert Bloom"?
That parcel of land was passed around more times than a dollar bill. Jews to Arabs to Romans to Greeks to this to that. Very difficult to lay historical claim on the region based on precedent alone, no? Another consideration, according to Sergio Della Pergola, a pre-eminent scholar on Jewish demographics, and also, as it were, a Jew himself, Israel only enjoyed a majority Jewish population during the 1st Century AD. After the 5th Century AD (1500 years ago), it was overwhelming populated by Muslims until the creation of the Jewish State some 50 years ago. If there was any kind of precedent, I think that speaks overwhelmingly in favor of the people that have occupied it for some 1500 years, no? On the other hand, what land was purchased by Jews is rightfully theirs and can't be contested. How much is that, btw? Further, the Jews have developed the region extensively and that invested wealth is no more the right of Arabs than Manhattans skyscrapers are the property of Native Americans. And unfortunately for the Arabs, they got beat at the age old game of invade and conquer. Possession is half the law. Albeit not right, thats the way it goes. The clock cannot be turned back. So where is the middle ground? Seems like both sides dont want to share.
Perfect...So you violated the partition agreement and decided to steal land from the Palestinians by starting wars. Over the next few days, approximately 1,000 Lebanese, 5,000 Syrian, 5,000 Iraqi, 10,000 Egyptian troops invaded the newly-established state. Four thousand Transjordanian troops invaded the Corpus separatum region encompassing Jerusalem and its environs, as well as areas designated as part of the Arab state by the UN partition plan. They were aided by corps of volunteers from Saudi Arabia, Libya and Yemen... the Arab states publicly proclaimed their aim of creating a "United State of Palestine" in place of the Jewish and Arab, two-state, UN Plan. And how many times have I told you to shove wikipedia up your ass! LOL, Wikipedia is 1000 times more reliable than any one of your sources: Palestineremembered, ElectronicIntifada, jihad.com ...You really should not talk about sources. Beside nazi boy, what happened to "We made the desert Bloom"? It was a desert in the beginning of the 20th century, before the jews started to move there. Beside nazi boy, Spect8or - a proud member of Stormfront.org Wael: As for spect8or ... I will not have a problem trusting this man.
Partition was the middle ground. The concepts of middle ground and compromise are unfortunately not part of the Arab culture.
United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 The UN Partition Plan for Palestine Not that it matters of course as the Arabs never accepted any version of partition.
