You sure trades are real trades and not just backtested results? I wouldnt take the signals blindly and instead take all results on the performance page with a grain of salt.
All trades are time-stamped.... Make of it what you want More to the point, The guy has put alot into building the pair trading community and without PTF this thread may not be here... Yet people still feel the need to pollute the thread with barren comments.. "Guy has a couple of typo's, someone may want to shoot him an email" or something along those lines would suffice... Rather than refusing to hand over 40 bucks for some innocuous typo. Let's get back on track this thread was pumping the last 30 odd pages...
As I have noted in previous posts, a certain % of trades are unrealistic in terms of execution(one stock is trading overnight while the other is inactive) and are in many case the most lucrative in terms of performance. This is not an insignificant issue like the typo farce.
Asking for timely updates is whinging? I wouldn't even call it whining. It's a legitimate observation.
Neospecioalist....if you look at what PTF does it uses the Yahoo prices to calculate it's recommendations. For ALL of its daily calculations it is the closing price that is used. It is easily possible to trade at this price with a MOC order. Before knocking PTF as you do I suggest that you try the 30 day trial and then you will have a better understanding of what PTF does or does not do.
False. Yahoo does not get the auction print (for NYSE, I dont know for anything else). Most of the time it is ok. It is sometimes off by 20-30 cents on a 30-50$ stock.
I am a subscriber. Am I allowed to criticize them now? You are mistaken, in that signals are generated throughout the entire trading day including the opening which generates some signals that include pre-market opening noise. I documented this recently in real time on this forum for the stock ETE. Before knocking me as you did, please read my previous posts on this subject.
