( making a transaction with yourself to make people think trades are now on bid instead of ask or inversely )

I know it is bad, but what do you risk? What are the eventual sanctions on CME, NYMEX...?

    Thanks a lot...

  2. For NYSE... one of my friend got fined by the stock's specialist for 115k$. He lost two months of income... thats all.

In my case, it's not 2 months of income...LOL... I would not like this kind of fine...

  4. Hey, but on a different note, if you're robbing the specialist/regulars of the ticker for something little like 5-7k a month and keep switching b/w different instruments... it may not irk them enough to fine you :D

  5. 2 months of income. 115k... COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOl

Section 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933, Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 thereunder.
im almost certain this applies to futures as well.
The ability to trade in the future would be in question.
So the future may be bleek if you plunder the "free market"
