So. Chicago Heights man plans to be buried in Pabst Blue Ribbon coffin In the meantime, PBR coffin serves as beverage cooler http://news.aol.com/story/_a/man-drinks-to-his-pabst-can-coffin/20080505092009990001
Pabst, if you thought my fade of smarty jones was a great call, wait till big brown loses in the Belmont to Casino Drive. You heard it here first. Big Brown, at probable odds of 1-5, will lose.
First off thanks to everyone who wished me well. I'd been in a few fender benders over the years but this accident was pretty intense. Fortunately my injuries were more nuisance than life threatening. Only in SoFla can you be totaled by a drunk uninsured illegal on a Sunday afternoon. I agree with Romeo. Big Brown isn't a strong threat at a mile and a half. Casino Drive should be the horse to beat but he too has injury problems. I'll look at a few exactas with Casino Drive on top and I'll certainly throw Brown in the mix as well. After all I've been on Big Brown since the Florida Derby. IMO he's the greatest since Secretariat but Belmont can make the greats look awfully humble. Just like these markets.....
Man o man, Pabst and I have been thinking alike since 2003. I couldn't agree more with this excellent analysis. Last year, I thought Curlin was a super horse from the Arkansas Derby, but that didn't stop me from playing pedigree in the 1 1/2 mile Belmont. This year is no different. Yes, i was crushed today to hear that Casino Drive has a hoof problem. But if they run him, I gotta believe they know their horse. If this horse is 100%, he can sit right with Big Brown, behind Da Tara for 3/4 of a mile, and then it turns into a 2 horse race. I don't see 1 1/2 mile pedigree in Big Brown, but I certainly see it in Casino Drive. Plus, the 90+ degree temps are going to make it even more unpredictable. Casino Drive over Big Brown.
No idea if this will hold but I'm a buyer in ES at 03.25. Stop below the lows. Looking for 1226 in the next 2 days.
