Pabst's Blue Ribbon Trades

  1. I guess I'm confused. If you post it after the market closed, I can't trade it. So what do you want from me? Applause? Because if I can't trade it, what other interest would I have?

  2. Bob, I saw the post, and responded. See, that's the hierarchy here... you post, I respond, you respond... and so on.

The thing is bid $3 from the close and you want an adulatory-response? It may break tomorrow, but it's going to have to move 3-handles to breakeven.

I'll sell it in the pre-market if there is any size on the bid. Thanks.

  3. Ok, you offered me good luck so thanks for that.

The stock is NOT $3 bid from where it closed. That's fantasy. you'll have no chance to trade it tomorrow at that level. Obviously, a person w a vested interest in the stock bought 3K shares, and didn't care what they paid. The closing price is $88 3/8.

As far as your "it has to move $3", that's worthless drivel, no offense. The closing price is $88 3/8. And as long as you're so interested in this one, where were you for enr, mmm, gme, ibm and pcp when I did this and went 5 for 6 in last cycle?? BTW, 3 of my biggest winners from this list were all up similarly in AH before the earnings were reported, just as mos is. I'm used to AH manipulation by those long. Happens all the time.

  4. No, i'm confused. What does the following post mean to you?

  5. Bob, stock traded at $91.25 in the AH today. I'll short tomorrow, but would you like to bet on tomorrow's closing over/under at 4pm? I'll take the over on $90/share.

I know you're a fiend for action and you pay your bets.

  6. Yes 3K shares traded AH. 1K @ $91 and 1K @ 91.25. If that's significant to you, OK. Again, 3K shares traded after hours, while 2+ million traded during the session.

Be happy to bet you it "opens" under $90. 20 bucks again? Won't bet you on the close b/c if you follow my record, you'll know i'm long out of the stock by then.

  8. Deal. And please do me a favor atticus, save the chatter on my future plays til AFTER the news comes out. I did so much frivolous posting here before the news I feel like I jinxed myself.

  9. If you post your trade after the close, no one else is able to make the trade if they chose to. So if no one else is able to duplicate the trade, then I begin to wonder what is the point of posting it to begin with.

Frankly I wouldn't even have thought you would have had to ask anyone what they preferred.

If you decide to post after the fact, and after the close, then why not just not post and tell us how it all turned out. Same difference isn't it?
