  1. That's why you should revive this thread.
The S&P's going under 1500 in the next few days for starters.
I think I got a good play for later today:)

  2. Covered my short delta's at 52. I'll risk a scratch on my hedge. This could be like July 25th. We're not in the breakdown part of the trend change. Yet.

i can't see how these IBM results can be sold. let's see tomorrow by the close (well of course CPI mail spoil the whole market).

disclosure: i am long IBM since March this year - and i am not worried here.

  6. The #'s were in line, but IBM has had outperformance the last few quarters so in-line is not great.
The #'s were not bad--I agree w you--or there would have been blood all over this one.

  7. Great trade! It's gotta be nice to pick up 1% on a call that was a tad bit off.

  8. Thanks. I'll have a few real good one(s) very soon.
I'm really fealing lucky right now so watch your space!
It will be interesting to see how IBM performs today, but i'm out from yesterday.
Had to take the +$1.8 on my shares. Profits will help finance the next, even better idea:)

    well, strange day.
CPI did not spoil the market but it was happily seconded by another dismay housing data. i would say the faster we fall the better - we can't go below zero after all.
and i was wrong about IBM close :( - have to wait for the next Q earnings :)
If PTR has the same % gain as today it will become the biggest company by market cap worldwide, i.e. passing XOM - pretty ridiculous isn't it.
