OWS: Violence Will Be Necessary

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Maverick74, Oct 12, 2011.

  1. These folks aren't any more than a news curiosity. The troops could gun them all down in about 2 minutes.

The REAL revolution will be when 100 Million Americans take to the streets. When will that be?

If they'd protest something worthwhile like congress and or our out of control federal government I'd join them.

I believe they are protesting an out of control federal government, they object to business's inordinate influence there.

  6. Violence will be necessary to bring about any real change, but that won't come anytime soon.
The real irony here is that the election of Obama is the very thing bringing this to a head. His election has demonstrated once and for all, with undeniable evidence that the people have no representation in government. None, zero, nada. Your vote is completely meaningless. It's a cruel scam perpetrated on the people.
All those people in the street bought into the whole hope and change thing, and what has happened? Still in Iraq and Afganistan. Not a single indictment brought against the fraudsters in the financial industry. We still play world cop. Obama is GW with a tan. Obama is tall on rhetoric, but comes up painfully short on action. There is, and has been no significant difference, and there will be no hope and change now or in the future. They are all bought and paid for, period!

I think this election showed that socialism does not work because no one choose to work and that the democrat party has always had very close ties with New York bankers.

The problem with the republican party is that the fiscal conservatives have to take the party back.

The neo cons were just socialists with a new name.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I can't wait to hear Obama's mea cupa in about 10 years from now, when he grows up.
