Sure, you know what they say...........lock your girlfriend and your dog in the trunk of your car and then come back in a couple hours and let them out.

It makes me wonder what the cat did that compelled them to build it.

 

Cats have the habit of getting onto any high shelf that seems interesting to them, if the shelf is covered with fragile things it can push on the ground as it climbs on it - even better.
