Very sad. The mom and dad heart is broken. Not just the mastiff, all the dogs sometimes try to chase little people to play. Then in can happen the dogs are very strong and hurt the child. The child fight back and the dogs go after them to fight. My cousin bring her 2 years old daughter and 4 year old son to my house many times. My dogs are very friendly ok, but never the dogs allowed too close to them. They are dogs so do not think like people.

 

Tragic story...have to wonder how the attack went down. Where were the parents!

 

There is a good reason why some breeds are unsuitable to be around small children and people should take that into account when they get a dog.
