LOL-- you are a smart guy, CalVol-- but many folks could care less about cars-- sure its a bigger audience but regardless the Vertu's have a cult like following with the limited editions holding value better, etc. I am surprise you like what the majority likes in cars, I took you to be a individual not of the mass mind. on the phone-- If you buy right, you can make a little or not lose much when you sell. I have broke even and even made a little on the last 3. BUt clearly I know the market and prices. surf
I am still mystified no one realizes or ignores the fact this is made up also...but surf thanks again..et would be ghost town without your fables.
You can buy multiple Galaxy 4s and/or Iphone 5s with your asking price, probably one for each adult in the family. Encrypted applications for safe communication do exist. Not sure who would be interested in such relic, perhaps a collector.
I own quite a few of these phones. http://most-expensive.com/cell-phone-mobile got long SPY in massive size years ago, kept adding... easy.
I believe he owns the phone. Can you imagine him buying it to prove he "belongs" in the hedgefund community? Its pretty easy to.
What's wrong with you folks? I don't know one hedge fund person that owns a Vertu phone. It's definitely more of an LA/ Hollywood thing. I don't get this Gonzo jealousy vibe. What's the big deal--- this site is becoming a real drag.
I'll sell it quickly on the bay for >$2000-- unless you have tried one, its hard to understand the appeal. It's not like those jewelry phones linked earlier. It's a solid piece of engineering. Not to mention the silent circle encryption and protector services group access. Also the concierge service is most excellent. But hey, if you don't understand, you don't understand. surf
That is the actual phone. My jeweler friend has a pro light box. I have several more photos if you are interested. surf
