Does anyone know what specific hours, days and on what system the S&P 500,Nasdaq 100,and Dow Jones futures trade outside normal market hours?
s&p and Nasdaq -> globex dow -> A/C/E hours are basically 24 hours. they shut down around midnight for a little bit and around the open/close of US hours ( i think 15 minutes) .
The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 trade on the Globex from 3:45 p.m. - 8:15 a.m. Central. The Dow Jones Futures trade electronically on A/C/E from 8:15 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. March, June, September, and December are the Contract Months. For RealTick users, symbols are C/I/P/T for Globex. Example S&P 500 June = /SPI2. With the I standing for June and 2 representing 2002.
The E-mini S&P 500 and E-mini Nasdaq 100 trade on Globex from 5:30 p.m Sunday to 3:15 p.m Friday, with a stop in trading from 3:15 - 3:45 p.m Monday through Thursday. Ticker Symbols on RealTick are /ES and /NQ for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 respectively. The Dow Jones E-mini contracts trade from 8:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central from Sunday to Friday.
For the Dow Jones e-minis,is that nonstop from 8:15 p.m. Sunday to 4:00 p.m. Friday, or is there a break anywhere?
Also,do the S&P 500,nasdaq 100,and dow jones futures(not the e-minis)start trading on Sunday,and if so, what time?
