After Bidens amazing hit game on unequivocal success State of the Union Address his job approval rating falls to a new all time low,and the lowest ever for a first term president
Biden supporters and pundits thought Bidens amazing hit game on unequivocal success State of the Union Address would turn things around for him. What they don't seem to understand is the more people see or hear Joe Biden the more they hate his fucking guts. Biden will lose in November no matter what but his best strategy would be to do what he did in 2016,stay in the fucking basement.
The woman whose sex trafficking story Katie Britt invoked speaks out Karla Jacinto Romero said the senator misused and misrepresented her experience to score political points. Sen. Katie Britt has been roundly criticized for her State of the Union rebuttal. Now, Karla Jacinto Romero, the person at the center of a harrowing story she told about sex trafficking, has also publicly chastised the Alabama Republican for misusing and misrepresenting her experience. To criticize President Joe Biden’s immigration policies, Britt’s speech referenced a story of a young woman being trafficked as a child. Although Britt did not mention Jacinto Romero by name, the details align with Jacinto Romero's experience. In an interview with CNN on Sunday, Jacinto Romero said that the senator should consider the enormity of the issue before invoking such a horrific personal story. Asked if the senator had taken advantage of her story for political purposes, Jacinto Romero said, according to an English translation from CNN: "Yes. In fact I hardly ever cooperate with politicians because it seems to me that they only want an image. They only want a photo. And that, to me, is not fair." In Britt's telling, she met a woman during a visit to Del Rio, Texas, last year, who recounted her experience of being sex-trafficked "by the cartels" from 12 to 16 years old. She implied that the incident had taken place in the United States and called Biden's border policies "a disgrace." But as independent journalist Jonathan Katz first detailed, Britt's invoking Jacinto Romero's experience in the context of Biden's border policies was misleading. Jacinto Romero also told CNN that Britt got several details about her story wrong: She was not trafficked by cartels, but by a pimp who entrapped girls to force them into sex work. She was trafficked when George W. Bush was president — and never in the U.S. Jacinto Romero added that she met Britt at an event with government officials and other anti-trafficking activists, not one-on-one. Britt's office has insisted that the story is "100% true," and Britt told "Fox News Sunday" that she did not mean to suggest it happened during Biden's presidency. Moreover, Jacinto Romero told CNN that Britt's office did not reach out for permission to use her story in a political speech. She urged politicians to have more empathy for victims. "I work as a spokesperson for many victims who have no voice, and I really would like them to be empathetic," she said. "All the governors, all the senators, to be empathetic with the issue of human trafficking, because there are millions of girls and boys who disappear all the time — people who are really trafficked and abused, as [Britt] mentioned. And I think she should first take into account what really happens before telling a story of that magnitude." https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/l...-of-the-union-karla-jacinto-romero-rcna142948 ---------- MAGA supporter Senator Katie Britt's story is an example of how these conspiracy theorists inflict America with a virus (lies). She only needed to stick to the problems with the "immigration crisis" at the southern border and the story about Laken Riley's murder without the acting job to go into Karen mode. Simply, the GOP Response was a missed opportunity to bring attention to the "immigration crisis" and a missed opportunity to go after other key points in the SOTU...she's just another politician who failed with the Suburban White Woman vote. Britt backlash stokes GOP fears about losing women voters https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...h-stokes-gop-fears-about-losing-women-voters/ wrbtrader
We liked the speech and we care about truth. This is why we support MAGA.---not Trump by himself, but MAGA.
you care about truth......and liked the speech....evne though she lied about facts in her story.... you support MAGA cult because you need to be told what to do or how to think and when it is proven wrong you still drop to your knees and guzzle.. and you wonder why people dont find you credible haha
In my opinion, the LIE told by Katie Britt in her "Karen mode" was her failure to emphasize Biden's immigration policy and the murder of Laken Riley. She brushed over those topics but instead tried (LIED) to link the sex trafficking...something that occurred in MEXICO (not in the United States) under my man Bush Presidency...to the Biden Presidency. Sex Trafficking in MEXICO has occurred during the Presidency of every U.S. President since the 1800s but became wide-spread in the 1980s. Oh wait, she then goes on FOX News after being attacked for the LIE by both Democrats and Republicans although more on the Democrat side. It was a missed opportunity for her to apologize to America and failure to apologize to the victim that she lied about. She forgot how quickly America forgets about the SOTU and the GOP Response...it usually takes a few months. In addition, she stated she's now being "attacked by the left"...attacking her motherhood. When asked questions about such...she's not able to provide any details. Most of the Republicans I've talked to...think it was an embarrassment and a missed opportunity. Yet, the only MAGA supporter I know saw her GOP Response as a success. In contrast, every Democrat I know...think it was a big failure but I only think so because of the hype going into the GOP Response... More hype in comparison to the prior GOP Response. In a month, it will be old news and she'll be forgotten for her failed GOP Response and Trump will have instead selected a different running mate. wrbtrader
CNN forced to correct story after accusations of 'smear' campaign against Katie Britt CNN was forced to issue a correction to its reporting this week aimed at discrediting a portion of Republican Alabama Sen. Katie Britt's State of the Union rebuttal in which she included the tragic story about an unnamed sex trafficking victim to emphasize the effects of the ongoing border crisis. That victim of sex trafficking was later identified as Karla Jacinto, who faced immense brutality from the ages of 12 to 16 at the hands of traffickers in Mexico, which Britt detailed in her rebuttal. CNN paraded Jacinto in front of its audience over the weekend with an appearance on the network and in a subsequent story in which it made a number of claims attempting to derail Britt's portrayal of the story. However, those claims ran in stark contrast to past reporting on Jacinto, as well as her own words. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cnn-forced-correct-story-accusations-smear-campaign-katie-britt
