Unlike Obama,Biden couldn't get every democrat to along with his bills.Unlike Biden,Obama didn't use the excuse of conservative democrats for not getting anything done. Ignoring the makeup of Congress when a presidential candidate is making campaign promises is absurd.Biden said due to his experience in congress he could get shit done.Everyone knew he would not have 60 Senators so that meant he was going to end the filibuster or have carve outs on the filibuster.He had enough democrat senators to end the filibuster.The fact that he couldn't get conservative red state democrats to go along with his agenda they way Obama did is why his net approval is around 30 points lower than Obamas.
