Obama got every democrat senator to vote for Obamacare, including conservative democrat senators from Arkansas,Louisiana and Nebraska.

Unlike Obama,Biden couldn't get every democrat to along with his bills.Unlike Biden,Obama didn't use the excuse of conservative democrats for not getting anything done.

Before The SC struck it down everybody under a certain income could get medicaid which was a decent solution for the public option .Market plans are heavily subsidized. Was it perfect? No,but a million times better than anything Joe Biden has done.

It is not rude when a Biden supporter is trying to argue it is comparable to LBJs or Obamas healthcare accomplishments.

Biden knew what the makeup of Congress was when he promised police reform, medicaid option for all, free state college, student loan forgiveness, immigration reform, higher taxes on the rich and corporations,15.00 minimum wage,no oil drilling,an abortion rights federal law, legal marijuana, criminal justice reform etc

You should stop acting like an online troll. You know damn well I did not say anything about LBJ (never heard of it...I do not know what it is).

Once again...the Obama/Biden healthcare accomplishments are different than the Trump/Pence healthcare accomplishments, and different from the Biden/Harris healthcare accomplishments.

More importantly, I started this discussion by comparing Biden/Harris VA bill to Trump/Pence VA bill.

Simply, if you're happy that there was no Vice President involvement (you've done this before) on other healthcare issues as you attempt to dismiss or remove someone from a historical fact.

Therefore, I will continue using the VA benefits under the Biden/Harris administration that were not in existence under the Trump/Pence administration or the Obama/Biden administration...

You can do your research about who created the PACT Act instead of debating it...Biden/Harris administration...a groundbreaking "expansion of veteran's healthcare and disability compensation"...

Do you see the words "compensation benefits" below ?

There is no one-year limit like the Trump/Pence VA Healthcare accomplishments. Simply, if you become sick, develop cancer or develop diseases after the one-year separation from the military...the Trump/Pence administration VA directed you will not receive any compensation benefits.

Obamacare and Medicare do not give "financial compensation...no compensation benefits" to Veterans who are injured or develop illnesses after being exposed to toxic waste in the military.

The PACT Act by Biden/Harris administration fixes the Trump/Pence one-year limit issue including giving veterans "compensation benefits".

    ----------

The Honoring our PACT Act of 2022 (PACT Act) represents the most significant expansion of veterans' healthcare and disability compensation benefits for veterans exposed to toxins and other environmental exposures, including burn pits and Agent Orange, in 30 years.

Expands Healthcare, Benefits, and Services for Environmental Exposures.

The Honoring our PACT Act of 2022 (PACT Act) represents the most significant expansion of veterans’ healthcare and disability compensation benefits for veterans exposed to toxins and other environmental exposures, including burn pits and Agent Orange, in 30 years. As part of the PACT Act, Congress authorized the Cost of War Toxic Exposures Fund (TEF) to fund increased costs above 2021 funding levels for healthcare and benefits delivery for veterans exposed to certain environmental hazards—and ensure there is sufficient funding available to cover these costs without shortchanging other elements of veteran medical care and benefits delivery. The Budget continues this commitment and includes $24.5 billion for the TEF in 2025, through funds appropriated by the Fiscal Responsibility Act, which is $19.5 billion above the 2023 enacted level.

Prioritizes Veterans’ Mental Health Services and Suicide Prevention for Veterans and Military Servicemembers.

The Budget invests $135 million within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) research programs, together with $17 billion within the VA Medical Care program, to increase access to quality mental healthcare, with the goal of helping veterans take charge of their treatment and live full, meaningful lives. In addition, the Budget provides funding to further advance the Administration’s veteran suicide prevention initiatives and to support the Department of Defense’s efforts on Suicide Prevention and Response.

    ---------

You can move on instead of arguing about the PACT Act that you do not want to learn anything about it. Go take a drive to your nearest VA Hospital and ask someone where you can go learn about the PACT act...

You'll realize that Trump/Pence administration did not do as much as the Biden/Harris administration did for U.S. military veterans. I await your reply about Obama and LBJ...you can have the last say on this issue.

Sorry, you've used profanity towards me before in past...

I did not mean to make the image so big...I will downsize it next time you continue with the troll tactics and taunts of U.S. Veterans being supported by Biden/Harris PACT Act that Trump/Pence VA bill had a one-year limit after separation from the military and did not allow Doctors abroad access to medical history on the veteran that's their patient. :sneaky:

Ignoring the makeup of Congress when a presidential candidate is making campaign promises is absurd.Biden said due to his experience in congress he could get shit done.Everyone knew he would not have 60 Senators so that meant he was going to end the filibuster or have carve outs on the filibuster. He had enough democrat senators to end the filibuster. The fact that he couldn't get conservative red state democrats to go along with his agenda they way Obama did is why his net approval is around 30 points lower than Obamas.

The fact that all he did was praise obstructionist senators takes away him using them as an excuse. You cant tell us how great Manchin and Senima is than say I couldn't get anything done because of them.

When it comes to the public option due to covid when Biden came into office was the perfect time to fight for it with ending the filibuster or a filibuster carve out,but he never even tried.
