  2. They may be your homies, but podiatrists have their feet firmly planted on the ground. Not to mention that they know a thing or two about heeling.

The consensus medical community is extremely pro-lockdown ( mostly targetted now ). This is a fact. And they support their position with real data and research that you choose to ignore. Somehow you think that B. of Arts makes you not only a data analysis expert, but a medical expert as well. It is EXTREMELY easy to show that lock downs saved infections. You just don't want to admit it.

    what very you say... Doctor.
you are the one who has been full of shit.

I am the one who asks you to present data and science supporting the idea that the lock down of the low risk has saved harm overall.

Stop using lockdowns to fight virus, says World Health Organisation

A special adviser to the World Health Organisation has urged governments not to use lockdowns as their primary method of controlling the spread of COVID-19, saying strict restrictions had a dramatic negative effect on lives.

David Nabarro, the WHO’s coronavirus special envoy, said lockdowns “just have one consequence that you must never, ever belittle — and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer”.

“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganise, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted — but by and large, we’d rather not do it,” he said.

Dr Nabarro, who made the comments in an interview with Britain’s The Spectator, said it was preferable to have tracing and hospital plans in place to deal with the coronavirus.

“And so we really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method. Develop better systems for doing it. Work together and learn from each other,” he said.

“It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year,” he said

So you made this bullshit statement about consensus.
Traderob just presented... info which challenges your crazy belief.

The thing is... you are such a leftist moron...
I am sure you firmly believed there was a consensus.
Even though you had no proof.

Have you talked to doctors who take care of people in hospitals?
Are many of them not very relieved their patients are finally being treated again.
You realize Lots of health care damage was done during the lock down.

Consensus here in Canada was very clear and we don't debate it to death like you do. Throughout this year you have had no idea what is actually happening in Canada; you just make assumptions then ramble on based on those assumptions. At one point, you started recommending some strategies that was already being used in Canada.

We don't have the "lots of health care damage" here. The main concern is during this second wave is will capacities be a problem again next few weeks, and are the long term care homes adequately prepared. During the summer, most of the new infections were young people not following safety precautions. There is now evidence in the second wave that those infections have again spread to higher risk groups which is why death counts are up. Not up as much as the US but up.

Your "leftist" talk as per usual is incredibly stupid, an ongoing problem you have personally. It's not a healthy way to look at the world. I have no idea what a "leftist" is that's an American hang up; very few Canadians see the world in a "left vs right" angle except some minor spill over from the US.
