    Quote from bigarrow:
The Supreme Court decides what is constitutional or not
    --------------

That statement is wrong. The Supreme Court, being the highest court in the land, is the FINAL arbiter of what is and isn't Constitutional. Until they make a determination, lower courts, Congress, Governors and others can have their own resonable opinions of the Constitutionality of a law or laws. Unless a lawman has taken an oath to uphold all of the laws of the U.S. he/she is under no responsibility to do so if he/she believes a law is unconstitutional or said another way, unlawful.

However, Obama HAS taken such an oath. But he, and Holder who has also taken that oath, are violating their solemn duty to uphold that oath by not upholding various Federal Laws such as certain immigration, marijuana laws and other laws. Even laws that they have not objected to as unconstitional.

So, if you want to blame someone for not upholding the law of the land, just look to your dear leader and ask him, "why not uphold the laws you swore to uphold?"

  2. Shit we've come so far away from the aims and ideals of the founding fathers as far as I'm concerned I don't owe this albatross of a gubbermint a damn thing. Whatever they get, will be begrudgingly taken from me.
I consider myself an unwilling subject and political tax prisoner.
If a better deal presents itself, I won't fail to take it.

  3. The way I see it also. Any respect I once had for US leadership is fast eroding. And I think that is what it all boils down to.....respect. Hence the beginnings of the police state.

So you don't think that the nonstop beating on a percentage of the population with the conservative ideology this country was essentially founded on, trying to marginalize their beliefs both constitutional and religious among other things, along with saying those beliefs (including in the constitution) have no place in modern society has no effect?

    *head shaking in disbelief*

Have you used the term teabagger?

Those aren't marching orders for civil war, numbnuts. Those are predictions. Learn how to read.

As for Lucrum's last comment, it was conditional.

There's a big difference between prediction and support. Perhaps you should figure that out?

  7. One said he was buying ammo for the war,the other said things would get better after the war,the other said yes he would support a civil war .

Stop being a coward and defending your civil war supporting brothers

  8. Quite frankly you're an idiot if there's no scenario in which you
wouldn't (at least privately) advocate the overthrow of the govt.

  9. The right insults the left just as much as the left insults the right. The right is disrespecting the constitution most of all with their disrespect of the democratically elected government, saying that they have the right to judge what is constitutional and what isnt, calls for succession and civil war etc

I don't remember Bush 1, 2 or Reagan saying they would go around congress if need be to get their way. You have no room to preach the constitution. More and more left wingers in academia and politics are saying we don't need it anymore, and those of you who agree are fools (hopefully you're not one). Without the constitution, history will repeat itself and it won't be pretty.
