Would Governors encouraging the people receiving Federal Welfare to move out of their state be allowed? I would love it if the people in IL receiving federal welfare were shipped to CA or MA. I am sure CA and MA would enjoy more diversity. This is another argument for secession.
Just to add a little balance. How much is corporate welfare costing us? Well over a trillion in bailouts and still counting. Lot's of people lined up at the government trough, with more than a few wearing 2000 dollar suits.
why would we be surprised some blue states pay money to the feds? CA for taxes the people who work he to the point where there is only 1/3 of the people paying income state income tax. We have stupid politicians who give our money to the Feds... and when we get stimulus money we hire overseas firms with overseas workers to build our bridges. its is the leftists politicians goal to screw up this state so that more people are screwed and on welfare. so are we surprised CA is bleeding its productive people dry and taxing and regulating the crap out of what was once the 5 largest economy in the world no. That is what leftists do... The go where the economy is strong and destroy it. They did it to east coast cities and now they are doing it to CA. Our politicians are so stupid with money our cities are going bankrupt.
