Two years of watching that rambling idiot on TV might just get trump a second term. Especially if they run Betty O'Rourke.

  6. 1. Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall so why is he asking Congress for $5 billion

    2. Democrats already said they would provide $1.3 billion in border security, same as he got last year. They are not choosing illegals they are not willing to spend $5 billion on a wall that does not solve the issue.

    3. In each year from 2007 to 2014, more people joined the ranks of the illegal by remaining in the United States after their temporary visitor permits expired than by creeping across the Mexican border, according to a report by researchers at the Center for Migration Studies. A partial government estimate released last year said that 416,500 people whose business or tourist visas had expired in 2015 were still in the country in 2016. That does not count people who came here on student visas or temporary worker permits.

Instead of throwing $5 billion at an imaginary wall and shutting down government, how about addressing the bigger problem of not tracking people who enter the country LEGALLY who overstay.

Pretty sure we will get much more than the cost of the wall in the new USMCA...

There’s also a new rule that a significant percentage of the work done on the car must be completed by workers earning at least $16 an hour, or about three times what the typical Mexican autoworker makes. Starting in 2020, cars and trucks should have at least 30 percent of the work on the vehicle done by workers earning $16 an hour. That gradually moves up to 40 percent for cars by 2023.
