Acosta owned again. Ya know, there are many times when I've seen Trump behave like or tweet something that I just shake my head at and consider without class. But this kind of this warms my heart.

"Out": Trump Expels CNN's Jim Acosta From Oval Office Over Shiteholegate Questions

President Trump ordered CNN's star reporter Jim Acosta "out" of the Oval Office Tuesday after the Senior White House Correspondent peppered the president with charged questions about immigration, following an alleged comment made by Trump last week in which he is said to have referred to Haiti and several other impoverished nations as "shitholes."

After interjecting several times with increasingly aggressive lines of questioning, Trump pointed at Acosta and said "Out!" - which finally rendered Acosta speechless.

"Mr. President," Acosta shouted three times, finally getting Trump's attention, "Did you say that you want more people to come in from Norway? Did you say that you wanted more people from Norway? Is that true Mr. President?” Acosta barked at Trump.

"I want them to come in from everywhere… everywhere. Thank you very much everybody," Trump replied while Acosta continued to interject.

"Just Caucasian or white countries, sir? Or do you want people to come in from other parts of the world… people of color," Acosta asked - effectively calling Trump racist, to which Trump looked Acosta directly in the eye and simply said:

    "Out."

Acosta spoke about the incident with Wolf Blitzer afterwards and said it was clear the president was ordering him out of the room. Acosta said he tried to ask his questions again when Trump and Nazarbayev gave a joint statement later on, but Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley “got right up in my face” and started shouting at him to block out any questions.

"It was that kind of a display," Acosta recalled. "It reminded me of something you might see in less democratic countries when people at the White House or officials of a foreign government attempt to get in the way of the press in doing their jobs."

Acosta and CNN were infamously humiliated after Trump called them "fake news" during a January, 2017 press conference in which Acosta attempted to shoehorn a question in front of another reporter:

Meanwhile, Acosta was shut down in December by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders after he tried to grandstand during a press briefing over being called "Fake News," telling her that sometimes reporters make "honest mistakes."

Sanders shot back; “When journalists make honest mistakes, they should own up to them. Sometimes, and a lot of times, you don’t,” only to be temporarily cut off by Acosta.

“I’m sorry, I’m not finished,” Sanders fired back, adding “There is a very big difference between making honest mistakes and purposefully misleading the American people... you cannot say it’s an honest mistake when you’re purposely putting out information you know is false."

Like Trump and the team do endlessly as standard business to mess with people. Trump may not be a strong racist but he wants support of the righty-whiteys and knows racism plays well with a portion of the wealthier religious groups. He is dog whistling to please them all the time and its obvious .

Stop being a chump, America is increasingly looking like a parody of a soviet state.

Representative Adam Schiff said that Mr Bannon's lawyer had cited "executive privilege" - which allows the president to keep information from the public.

He said that Mr Bannon had refused to answer questions related to his time at the White House, or the transition to the new administration.

"Steve Bannon and his attorney asserted a remarkably broad definition of executive privilege," Jim Himes, a Democratic member of the committee, told CNN.

What you call a Soviet State, I call much needed - and overdue - candid talk.

If it were more of a Soviet State, Acosta would have been escorted out and then onto a cargo plane to go count trees and perform hard labor in upper Canada. Instead, he is free to shriek as much as he wants. He just can't do it in the presence of adults.

  5. Give it time. Trump lies, you know it we all do. But he is on your 'team' so you uncomfortable sometimes give him a pass?

Trump the reality TV president cannot be given free reign, he will fuck everything up. He might get some things fixed but the cost will be massive.

How did you feel about his son citing attorney-client privilege? Because both he and Trump had lawyers in the room? That beggars belief, it is one of the one so stupefying that nobody could get a handle on it.

He is surviving because his team have him in a bubble. A president who needs fake praise and is shielded from the crowd's boos is a bad leader.

  6. And you think this was a "win" for Trump? His not answering a direct question and dismissing a journalist? And then, the Deputy Press Secretary starts shouting to block out any questions? Cool, comrade.

All politicians lie. If you think otherwise then this discussion is a non-starter. And when you say Trump is "on my team", what team is that, precisely?

If all you have is that Trump is sheltered from criticism, and that makes him a bad leader, then I guess my response is that you are certainly entitled to your own opinion.

Yes, I do. He answered the original question, then Acosta went shrill and made it an obvious "gotcha" question for all the race baiters - like yourself - who I'm sure were cheering it on.

Trump responded with "out", and Acosta went "out". Win.

  9. We all know they would never have asked a question intended to annoy or embarrass their true love Obama. Why would they, since they were all on the same team and switching jobs back and forth?

I'm convinced the only reason Trump hasn't pulled Acosta's accreditation is that he likes slapping him around. Useful foil. The guy perfectly epitomizes the lying biased arrogance of the media. Mr. Fake News. If CNN replaced him with an ethical journalist, it would be much harder to delegitimize them.
