  4. AK, Sometimes it feels like a game of whack-a-mole with these idiots. They're all over the place around here. The ability of the rabid righty sites to put lots of stupid shit out is impressive, and of course the capacity for the drooling readers of them to see it as such is absent.

  5. http://www.factcheck.org/2009/04/snopescom/

Q: Is Snopes.com run by "very Democratic" proprietors? Did they lie to discredit a State Farm insurance agent who attacked Obama?

A: A chain e-mail that "exposed" Snopes contains falsehoods. And in fact, the site is run by someone who has no political party affiliation and his non-voting Canadian wife. A State Farm spokeswoman confirms what they reported about the Obama-baiting agent.

Before you go calling fact check Obama friendly for debunking the snoops rumors just know it was started by the 2 folks on the left

"After Richard M. Nixon was elected President, he appointed Annenberg as ambassador to the Court of St. James's in the United Kingdom. "

"It was Annenberg who introduced President Reagan to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and the Reagans often celebrated New Year's Eve with the Annenbergs. Leonore Annenberg was named by President Ronald Reagan as the State Department's Chief of Protocol as well."

  8. and this is what qualifies as an "intelligent" response from them. Although I must confess, is rather amusing.

  9. I was just thinking how hard it is to stay in the middle. I think of myself as a fiscal conservative, have to be, and perhaps more liberal in the social arena. Many of us feel that way. And, I don't like wasted $$ and children on foolish wars.

But, it's really hard to when the right, mostly, get so amp'd up and spout all the fox talking points. It's easy for us to see that they are being led around by their puppetmasters, Murdoch, Koch, and the crew, but not for them to see themselves.

All the name calling, no literate responses, all of it, just wreaks. It's ok to disagree, please do if you like, but with all the Obama hate, and the out right lies, really sad.

I get fw emails from a good friend, which I have to Snopes each time to send back as false nonsense. He's pretty smart too, really upsetting.

Oh well, with the current group of right wing guys helping Obama win another 4 years, I guess they'll have to suffer.
