    Meaning... what?
The question was why you destriero, after all, still participate in surf's threads?
It was not a question about me, in case you missed it...

  2. You must not be from the United States but IRA accounts can have millions dollars in it and be quite larger than most people's trading accounts they claim here. So the fact that it is an IRA does not limit size at all.

This thread has just become a typical pissing match.. @Baron we have another candidate for Chit Chat.

  3. If you never use stops the only thing that will happen is that you STOP trading ...

It's hilarious. The 2 guys arguing with you have a combined trading account value of about 500 dollars. Gotta love ET , the guys with the biggest mouths have the smallest accounts. These Sim jockeys sure know a whole lot more about trading then people with credibility.

If you position size properly relative to your risk capital --- there is no need for fixed stops.

Nah you are right. Why have an out when you are wrong. Just sit there and say your "studies" are right and market will come back. Works great. Shorting CL at 33.50 and having it go 5 plus dollars against you is great. Just keep waiting and praying. Or since you are not trading real money and playing Nintendo Super Mario Bros Trading Edition just forget it ever happened.

You do realize you are the worst "trader " ever to post on ET right ? Your advice and observations about the market are by far the most horrendous opinions ever posted on ET.

Baron should move every post of yours to Chit Chat.

  9. EP and also to DES , just focus on the trade EP quoted:

I'm out of my element talking about outright direction as you both know...but from my vantage point..it's entirely possible CL shares (sic) never see 33.xxx again foooorever , so not having a stop leave you with unlimited losses; how therefore can a person defend no stops..even averaging? It seems surf is just here to get us to post what an ass he is? Serious questions

  10. If you are positioned sized properly, it makes sense not to use stops. I am not saying never close a losing position-- but closing the position needs to be thought of in a dynamic fashion rather than a fixed price stop. Sure if u are over leveraged or trading too big for ur account size, unless hedged, what i am saying is not practical.

Remember, we are dealing with an oscillating system.
