What are some other sites that provide a lot of market data and are similar to barchart.com? I'm curious whether there are some other good ones. I also like briefing.com but its not that great in my opinion.
monty21, Quote.com has more market data, more global exchanges, more forex data, more futures exchanges, and more news: http://www.Quote.com Also a mobile version: http://www.quote.mobi Chuck @eSignal
http://finance.yahoo.com/ , http://www/stockcharts.com , http://futures.tradingcharts.com/menu.html and http://www.barchart.com , http://www.bloomberg.com are the only free ones worthwhile. The rest have limited data and too many ads.
WTF? .mobi??? They give anyone a domain these days. The internet in the next decade is going to be a mess. I'm going to register for http://www.lesbian.porn when it comes available.
".mobi (also known informally as dotMobi) is a top-level domain approved by ICANN on 11 July 2005 at 4:47 p.m. and managed by the mTLD global registry dedicated to delivering the Internet to mobile devices via the Mobile Web. It is financially backed and sponsored by Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Telefónica Móviles, Telecom Italia Mobile, Orascom Telecom, GSM Association , Hutchison Whampoa, Syniverse Technologies, and Visa, with an executive from each company having a seat on mTLD's board of directors." "Since 100% of .mobi sites must be optimized for viewing on a mobile phone, the main advantage of .mobi, from the users' perspective, is that they are guaranteed a site optimized for usage on the go."
