  2. byrne did not seem at his best. the "man" (becky) interviewing him was quite antagonistic and hurt the interview. Greenberg came across as someone that has started to unravel. its funny to hear him talk about a "conspiracy" against him... what a NUT !!! cramer ...well he has acted crazy since the beginning.

  3. for me that is the whole story.... locate and deliver the shares. do that and i will put this dog to sleep. is it utah and Ct that is going after the DTCC??? funny how cnbc does not mention this and keeps the illegal nakeds out of the discussion.

Yeah. It is kind of "strange" how Herb and Cramer and some of the other CNBC wags keep "spinning" the idea that the whole deal is just OSTK trying to squash ANY short selling and talking down of their company. They NEVER seem to mention the legality question of failure to deliver.

And Bryne doesn't help his case by the continued bizarre behavior. If he would just present his side with calm and logic, he would get much more respect. Sometimes he is very lucid and believable, and other times...not.

But, at least, Charlie Gaspareno is finally attempting to see the other side. I suspect he has checked a few things out and knows which way the wind is starting to blow. But now that Becky...well, what can you say...

It was weird how Byrne didnt fall back into asking how OSTK' short interest is supposedly bigger than what DTC holds. Instead, they just spat at each other and some CNBC guy told Greenberg to keep his comments on point and Greenberg proceeded to say how clean he is.

I thought it was a weird interview and reflected poorly on cnbc. Byrne holding up those websites was odd too.

At some point, doesnt someone have to ask how short interest can be higher than what DTC holds?

  8. I think we can all agree, PB ain't getting no Becky pussy no time soon.

Man, she was pissed. the man called out her shill/shell company.

Insana was not all too happy yesterday in his interview, and today, his email is gone. He did email someone in this and say he hopes to meet him in his new life. Insana knows, and I think he deserted this sinking ship.

PB is PB. We've know all along that CNBC is protecting their meager audience, and man, did he call them out. I have tears in my eyes. He has no respect for them, and feels he doesn't need them.

Lastly, we are looking at some very strange insider sales at TheStreet.com. Seems they were made by two very interesting/interested parties after subpeonas, before public announcement. Hmmmmmmmm.

What will end this is arrogance. They cannot help what they are.
Look for some more major lawsuits for billions. You heard PB say he was contacted by seven, what, Feds or regulators? Anyway, you know where this is headed.

This reminds me of Jeff Skilling calling an analysis an "asshole" for asking questions regarding Enron's profits. Of course, Skilling is now pre-occupied trying to stay out of the Federal pen for stock fraud.

Don't be surprised if Overstock is a giant fraud, phantom sales, phantom inventory, shipping empty boxes, etc etc. The entire situation smells funny.

    A real circus, LOL

    Just a bemused observer

  10. first of all, i just would like to point out that steve still has no clue what naked shorting is. LOL LOL LOL

secondly, if you are going to put this assumption out there about ostk, back it up or else you are just another wuss.

thirdly, would you like to explain why utah and ct are going after the DTCC ????
