vhenn, as I've already said, if OSTK was a good company it would have already been taken private by Cerberus or similar fund. The fact that they stay away is all you need to know.

  2. ......doesn't mean you can manipulate. Tell you what. Wanna ask the man a question. Ask him. I know he monitors boards. Maybe he monitors this one. Ask him why he does it.

  4. yeah, minus 50mm or so.

does anybody here know the difference between right and wrong? Or does that not matter anymore as long as you win.

flytiger, you still don't get it. Free markets are the best solution to manipulation because they seek out their own annihilation. You completely missed my point: if there was value to be had in OSTK Cerberus would be all over it like hundreds of other public co. they took private. If not them, another fund.

End of discussion (atleast for me... you can continue to moan and groan all you want).

  8. nobody including byrne has posted a shred of proof that anything illegal is going on. all i see is a lot of speculation and conspiracy ideas.
you guys lose credibility when you accuse the hedge funds and the media and the sec and congress of all working together to cover up a crime.

    show us some proof.

  9. Something you missed in one of my earlier comments: Just because it is 'law' doesn't make it 'right.' (Who enacts laws anyway - think about it.)

OSTK is overvalued by any stretch of the imagination.

If the public interest is rational prices, I see the regulators more likely ammending their 'law' rather than pushing the issue in this type of instance.

  10. go find it yourself, i dont care about your perception of credibility. the mere fact you have made this statement tells me you dont know the first thing about illegal naked shorting. fly has posted and linked volumes of material...go read it.

conspiracies are reality, wake the F up. i have lost my patience for stupidity.
