And what if he buys out the remaining shares, i.e. 'takes it private' at $120. Then what do you do with all your profits? Wierder still ....
I understand the "borrow" has gone from 20% to 30%. Of course, there is no borrow. The brokers say "go ahead" make a fake borrow, and then flip the fails around the horn, IMHO, which is a pretty good one. If you know anything at all about the brokerage business, they will do pretty much anything for a buck. This one will bite somebodyin the ass. Look at OSTK trading. If it's not messed up, I can't read a chart. We need some outside entity to stop the musical chairs. Then the calls come, and the hedgies fold, sticking the broker, or the broker covers, sticking the hedgie. Either way, who cares. It's like a pimp screwing a whore, or a whore screwing a pimp. We are getting, finally, Congress to move, but probably only because the states.
Flytiger, How come you only show up on this thread when OSTK has an up day? It went down from over 41 to almost 37 and not a peep from you (until today's 2% pop).
I posted today because I contacted a reliable source who would know what the float was. I thought it was an interesting development, especially since a pre -opening trade today was 37,500 at the Friday closing price. Was that a cover, or did PB buy more? But, Maybe I was wrong. Maybe that wasn't interesting. why are these threads full of people who constantly not only criticize, but badger? Pick the information you want and trade. I got stopped out the first big down day; thought I had a good entry, but in these stocks, they try to break the bulls back. You have to be aware that, at anytime, but generally Friday afternoon, the bears can come out with anything, including fake press releases. Yes, I've seen that too. And it isn't over yet. However, the volatility here makes this a great trade candidate. I prefer to own some calls, and daytrade the stock. And What up day.? The stock was $42 last week They pounded it for two straight days. After the stock was down over $2, someone flashed an offer of 10,000; the offer is usually for about 200. That's one of the NSS favorite tricks to shake weak hands. I still believe Byrne is committed to winning this battle in a big way. I believe he, of a Liberal Education, is doing it on principal. I know probably more about Naked Short selling than 99% of the people out there, and if I can get 100 people to watch OSTK, and they catch the squeeze, whether it's tomorrow, or next month, they will make a fortune, and they will make it very painful for the BD's. I still believe the hedgies walk. KL Financial and Bayou should tell you all you need to know. If you don't like the buffet, don't eat. I suggest the joke forum 4 U. After what I learned today, I, for one, am not in the mood to laugh. And I don't take criticism well.
No hidden agenda. I want this crime to end. I want stocks to trade freely, just like I want oil companies to earn and keep legally won profits. I've spoken to Senators, Congressman, Attorneys Generals, State Regulators, never hidden anything, never will. This is close to ending, and if I've convinced one person to help end it, great. Somebody got Pat Bryne involved, and he's made a huge difference, and it benefits you all. I continually post, because this is the biggest story since the crash of '87. I'm not saying 2000, because I believe this is part of the reason of the crash of 2000. That's for another day. So, if you don't like it, skip the post, but there is a day coming very soon where trading in these stocks will look like nothing you've ever seen before. If you don't believe me, you'll be aware of it, and when you see it, maybe you can make a buck, and make it tougher on the smart asses to buy in. And that is what I live for. 500k trading, 900k traded. I say that's pretty good information! all you need to know. Goodnite children.
I like this thread, has many interesting articles. Some relevant and scary truths come to light. I've had the opportunity to sit in on the directors of fund complex meetings, and have heard issues like this discussed and debated as to their immediate relevance. I believe the meeting I am referring to I recalled the mention of NSS being done on various foreign exchanges without the companies even knowing. There is a company I have been watching and trading that like OSTK has been undergoing a long term NSS attack. The CEO is not as vocal though. About a year or so ago, the CEO found out about its listing on the berlin stock exchange and fought to have the listing removed. The guy received a crash course in naked short selling and has since made obvious moves to turn the tables. My favorite was this one, his reasoning cited market conditions. http://www.corporate-ir.net/ireye/ir_site.zhtml?ticker=ingn&script=411&layout=7&item_id=506526 The executive board alone has enough options to substantially pressure this stock. If you look at the 5 year chart you can definetly see where the stage has been set. On a 3 year chart you can see an accumulation formation as we near a flag reaction point. This analysis is from my personal research, but its to illustrate a point. If you are looking to build positions or trade stocks on the long side of a multiyear NSS campaign.. INMHO Look for stocks like INGN that are nearing the end of their campaigns and are approaching a key reaction point. This will give you contained risk points, and unpredictable upside after an impulse. OSTKs CEO I feel will make similar moves in the comming quarters, and I wish them the best of luck.
hey flytiger! never seen anyone say so little with so much... your mumblings remind me the way those "detectives" would talk in the old b&w movies... no agenda? right! here is a website for you... may explain your condition a little for those naive enough to take you BS as a gospel... then again, you could be right agent Mulder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delusions_of_grandeur
I go with crook. Right now, Lycos is bombarded with supeonas going after bashers. "grandeur"??????? I've been road hard and put away wet. I just want payback, and not only money. NFLX takeover rumor. The hedgies are having a very bad day. More to come. And quickly. Read between the lines.
