This song uses a harmonica, flute and trumpet to symbolize the Bible's emphasis on the importance of being "in one accord," meaning unity of heart and mind—for example, in prayer, worship, and living together in harmony, as seen in passages like Acts 1:14 and Romans 15:6.

I play saxophone, not banjo, so "Let's Go Our Separate Ways" (Dueling Saxophones) is my tribute to Dueling Banjos, which was a bluegrass composition by Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith that he composed in 1954 as a banjo instrumental he called "Feudin' Banjos," and was then arranged and performed by Eric Weissberg and Steve Mandell for the film "Deliverance."

As an amateur songwriter who has gotten as far as the finals in a number of contests, from time to time I like to practice my craft by writing a song inspired by a media personality. This one was inspired by Bill O'Reilly's abhorrence of clichés, as expressed during his closing thoughts on today's broadcast.

This is the third song I've written this month where I created the music and then almost instantly had the idea for the entire lyric come to mind for me to type out in a matter of minutes.
