I took the exam on campus. Minus 2 points for a wrong answer or skipped answer and 1 point for a right answer. No one at my school passed the exam. However, I did get an offer from another market maker that I'm accepting.
If you answered every question then this is a solid result. I'm not aware of many people 'finishing' the test.
I took the first test on campus, answered 63 questions, she did not tell me how many I got right but I am confident that at most I got 1 or 2 wrong. What should I expect for the interview in their Chicago office? Has anyone done their second round there? If not, what about second round interviews people have experienced in other Optiver offices.
Has anyone taken the second and the third test at Optiver. I cleared the first test. I am yet to take the second and the third test this Thursday on April 06. The HR told me that it will be on patterns and sequences and advanced Mathematical calculations. Can someone suggest give me some information on the test and how difficult it will be and what will be the cutoff. Is there a book for numerical patterns and sequences.
Hi, I'm gonna have a similar rapid fire test soon. anyone have a great online resource for tricks to do + - * / ??? I'm having a big problem at long divisions.. would appreciate if anyone can help
actually how many digits are these rapid-fire questions up to? anything more than 3digits would make the test quite difficult to pass..
The object of the test is not to get every question right but to try them all. Successful trading is not about being right but knowing when to move on to the next trade. I think that's what they are looking for.
