Hey just failed test 1 with Optiver. I did much more poorly than I expected (only finished 53 or so questions), and got slowed down by a major grid error (skipped a question by accident, slotting each answer for N into the N-1 slot for quite some time).

My question: is the Optiver test a once-in-a-lifetime thing? It looks pretty likely that I will be doing trading in Chi/NY/DC/Cali so do they reconsider applications a year later with relevant experience at a prop trading firm?

    Thanks.

    It's a once-in-a-lifetime application.

Also, they do not consider applications w existing trading experience.
