My interview went terribly but I rather surprisingly I still got invited to the Amsterdam office for a final interview. I got asked to talk about myself a bit more, then about what I knew about Optiver. If I could describe the difference between Goldman and Optiver. Then I was asked to make a market on the number of rooms in the hotel (where the interview was), then to adjust my market. I was asked if I knew what a call option was (and that was the only real technical knowledge question I was asked). I was asked what I did to follow the markets and financial world in general, and where else I had applied to, why I wanted to be a trader and why Optiver in Amsterdam as opposed to a London office.
Thanks for the information. Did they take the math test ? How was the format ? Was the last interview in Chicago ? Are you a recent graduate ? Thanks again.
