By making appx 8 posts per day on average....pretty reasonable...Daddy's boy...lol..Daddy's boy. Nice...tells me all I need to know about you.
P.S By the way Daddy's boy...lol..Daddy's boy...*ahem* oh, right sorry back on track Daddy's boy (lolol )- You can thank Tim Sykes for the nice jumpstart in post count when I first registered...my actual average would be less than 8 per day, if you want to nitpick...but 8 is good enough for me....
daddy'sboy....Your into "incessant arguments", so much so you even will ignore the OP's request to end the thread to get in the last word. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1715464#post1715464 What brings you back to ET? "I won't post anymore on this board" is a quote of yours.
The only drawback I see with thinkorswim's ThinkDesktop is how, in the trade tab, the options chains are listed vertically and they cannot be lined up side by side. I am always looking at time spreads - sometimes in a hurry - and am really hampered by how TOS lists the options. For example, if I'm trying to compare implied volatilities for 6 months, I have to set the option chain to show 6 strikes (or so) and then open up 6 months and basically write down all of the volatilities then pan up and down / up and down / up and down. If you get sick of it and get lazy it can weaken a position you're opening. I realize you have to work to put on good trades, and this is doing a lot of work, but it's unnecessary and stupid work. OptionVue solves this instantly with the matrix... But I am a fan of TOS and want to stick with them. Does anyone else have this issue with TOS - how do you deal with it? How do you evaluate a lot of time spreads (calendars, diagonals) quickly in TOS? Perhaps there is a clever way to use scanner that I have not thought of...
On ToS platform go to Tools, then to Widget 360 ---play with the tabs as you see fit--note also the one tab on the bottom left of the screen that allows you to time - compare everything from Mark, to IV to... Don't be hampered-- be proactive
