Hi guys, I'm selling my licensed copy of OptionVue 5. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/OptionVue-Softw...oryZ3769QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Any questions, just ask.
How does hardware key function for protecting software against illigale use? Does this mean no alternate ways for others to use it without having to use H.K incase one lose it?
Quite simply, if the key is not plugged in, the software will not start. This type of key needs to be plugged in the printer port, while other types use the usb port. If you lose it, you can call the company and request another one. Hope this helps.
Is this a current version of the software? They stopped using the hardware key several years ago. What version are you selling?
Version 5. If I remember correctly, I got the software about 4 years ago (more or less). You are correct, I believe they have other ways to protect the software against piracy.
