TDA uses the dictum on OCC PM. IBKR has gone nuts with reqs BEYOND cash-secured. PM at TDA or say Wedbush is good.

I ran this spread on the OCC calculator based on Friday's close 1X. The OCC margin is $75. For accounts under $5mm, Lightspeed/Wedbush add 20% for overnight risk. So with Lightspeed, in a PMA, the requirement 1X overnight would be $90 per spread. the net credit was $89 based on the file attached. I do not have access to a Reg-T calculator for Wedbush. If it were Monday, I could ask someone to run it. In a REG_T account, this would require with Lightspeed Option level 4. I hope this helps.

BTW, the reason by this is so high in a PMA is that there is a minimum requirement of $37.50/Option. This type of spread should be lower in REG-T.

All I know is you can ask the mod to lock your thread so no more replies are allowed in the thread so it essentially becomes read-only/no reply. I have seen that to be done once there has been or deemed to be enough discussions in your thread. That is an option yes.

Based on dest's vetting of you, I'd say there is no harm in starting a journal here if you feel it will help you, the ET community, or both. You may find value in doing so, or you may not. The only way to know is to try. It is like what the Butthole Surfers said in the intro of their song "Sweat Loaf"...

"It is better to regret something you HAVE done, than to regret something you HAVEN'T done".

The whole point of ET is discussion. It's a forum. A forum is where people go to discuss things. A forum without discussion is just one big long article. Even articles published on the internet today have a comments section where people can discuss the article. The problem is when you open something for discussion, you cannot dictate how it's discussed. Not even the government can. The very right to "troll" is protected by the Constitution under the First Amendment for Freedom of Speech. LOL No the problem with ET is not the trolling; it's the stalkers or the online abusers who think it's ok to stalk people relentlessly from thread to thread to attack their posts and then deem whatever comments you don't like as trolling. LOL This is why we have Freedom of Speech. The problem on ET here is not the trolls but the stalkers and the cyberbullies who relentlessly stalk people from thread to thread and attack their posts and they are being tolerated and condoned. Trolling is not wrong (just annoying) but cyberbullying is.

    FALSE!

Your text on ET is not protected under the Constitution. Free speech on ET is not a thing that is protected. This is a privately-owned endeavor which can set their own rules on what is and is not allowed to be said. Get that straight!

Don't be that guy who thinks the government should force a bakery to bake a cake for a gay wedding because gay marriage is a right but the owner does not believe in it based on their own religious beliefs. Bill of Rights Amendment 1A...Someone who is gay is allowed to have free reign over private enterprise, because being gay is a "right" to be imposed on others, violating Amendment 1.

Not going to debate about the constitution or whatever to turn this thread that should go into the "politics" section. But if going by what you said, your options idol should be banned from ET long time ago. My point was and still is:
