Hi, Does anyone here trade options on European stocks? I mean options that are listed in Europe not US-listed options! I'm interested in what sort of liquidity do they offer compared to options on US stocks? Are they significantly less liquid, more liquid, about the same? TIA!
I trade the dax and estx50 on Eurex using IB. Plenty of liquidity. Uses risk based margining system like SPAN so better than Reg T for naked sales.
IB offers stock options, futures, index options, warrants, probably other things I have missed on all major European exchanges. Stock options arent avail in Spain or Italy, yet. EUREX (2 countries) EURONEXT (4 countries) IDEM Borsa Italiana LSE, etc http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/securitiesOptions.php?ib_entity=llc
