A Portfolio Margin account haircut or margin requirement on a equity or option position is risk based. Using any leverage multiple is not accurate for option positions. You can check out the OCC Portfolio Margin calculator to see how much margin a position will require. You can certainly sell more covered and uncovered options in a PM account than Reg-T.
