If that’s true then sell them, instead of buying. Many people never buy options and only sell them. Many people also trade combinations of options.
Actually I love to trade thinly traded options. Mile-wide spreads often means no one knows how to price them?
Because an options trader ignores that expiration stuff and is focused on a daily granularity. An option 3 months out or 3years out is really just 5.3 of one or half a dozen of the other. Options, are all just Greek to me.
