Options Firms hiring traders

Where are all the ex-floor market makers going to work?
What about when the "master computer" fires up and even Timber traders will fall... or has that already happened?

 

i hear the pickings are pretty slim on the floor these days.

 

What do you guys have to say about working on a floor, flipping options; from the MM, broker, or trader perspective?

What is up those stairs anyways?? Besides free drinks for the market makers? Is it Nivana, a graveyard, or just a place to go so the wife (or hubby) doesn't know where you are?
