Options Expiration

  1. generally speaking, what does the the OPTION expiration mean to the market? What should we expect this Friday?

  2. Option expiration usually means added volatility that day (like we need any more of that right now). You will often see unusual price moves in stocks that day, as market makers and institutional option traders will manipulate stock prices close to strike prices where there is a lot of open interest in options for that stock. By doing so, they make a lot of those options expire worthless. Just one more little game the big guys play to screw with the little guy.

  3. Does anyone have a particular stratrgy, taking advantage of options expiration, that they'd like to share?
