    All Good, lol, No Worries.
Are you posting from a smartphone?
Maybe the Galactic Height is an artifact of the Portrait aspect ratio of the phone vs the more Landscape AR of a computer display?

If it's too much hassle to figure it out, fuggit about it, Post 'em anyway, you post good stuff.

Volatility Arbitrage Trading by J Dohn, one of the best books about synthetics I’ve read.

I use an iPad to post these books. I’ll mostly download the cover from google images, or screenshot it from my Adobe if I have the digital copy. The sizes are all over the place, my apologies. But I have about 500 more good books I’d like to post in this thread over the course of this year :)

  6. Option Selling on Stroids.jpg This is my favorite, the only catch is publication was withdrawn right after the hedgefund blew up :(

lmao, I was wondering since I’ve never seen this title.

I do have Cordier other book “The Complete Guide to Option Selling”, wasn’t impressed, it’s alright but a lot of vague and misinfo in it. And it’s mostly option selling on commodity futures.

  8. Yup, I also have Cordier's other book as well. I read it twice, but I don't know shit about futures. Regardless, I did like it. And....it used to be called THE BOOK on OPTIONS by many others, which is why people were so surprised when he blew up with them.

To be fair, Niederhoffer blew up his hedgefunds not ONCE, but TWICE. Yet people still seem to like his two books as well.

don’t get me wrong, a good book is a good book.. but Cordier didn’t cut it for me. At first I liked it, but this was 7 years ago. As I’ve grown by knowledge base I realized a lot of what Cordier pushed wasn’t prime advice. He also used the whole “87% of options expire worthless” crap.

I wouldn’t compare the two. Niederhoffer is a LEGEND, and “The Education of the Speculator” is one of the best books. Yeah he blew up, but that makes the story that much better. Legendary traders die broke and cold in a dark alley lol

  10. I haven't got through Education of a Speculator yet... I read the beginning a while ago, and thought to myself... fuck why would I ever put my money in his fund? He spent the first chapter I think talking about being an old man and being far too leveraged and STUCK in a bad/risky position in the forex markets and finally he managed to dodge bullets to escape after feeding in his 'line' just enough to bluff and live another day. Haha.
