Your Broker, should be your first source, as typically that is free. Fee based subscriptions are also available. There are probably others.
Any US account will give you live option prices- Interactivebroker.com for example-the UK sucks however,as it is an exclusive club and we are only allowed the crumbs off the floor
Why would being from the UK create any restrictions with regard to equity or option trading or access to markets? I'm only aware of restrictions from Canada. bob
Hemant: I tried trading (entry/exits) with options but the theta decay makes it very difficult. The amount of times I entered a trade and it went again s me and then in a day or two the stock price came back but I was still down. It's because of breakevens and theta that make is so difficult. Go to Tastytrade.com, it will change your life. Look under "Find Shows' then scroll down to Where Do I Start. Your looking for Season 1. Then go to the last page (page 20) and start watching the videos back to front. I've been doing this for 7 mo the and am up 9%. That's with all of the other trades I tried doing too though. I also did trades that TT recommend d not to do and I quickly learned why. I highly recommend it! If not for those stupid mistakes (and only traded the Tastytrade.com way, I would be up about 12% Since February.
Jogy: nope, just trading on my own using the same rules that they use. Basically, selling premium. I watch there show a few times per week and call I with questions a couple of times per month. So I'm figuring it out as I go and learning along the way. I know that 9% Since Feb. 2nd isn't that great but I think it is pretty good with regards to my first time really trading options. My trading buddy does the same thing and he is up huge, this year and last.
Hemant, What broker are you using? All 4 brokers I use have real time alerts related to options (custom alerts, volume, changes in IV or volume, block alerts, IV/HV, etc.). My brokers are: Schwab, AMTD Fidelity and Options Express.
PM is one. The big one is that every broker a Canadian resident does business with must be registered in Canada as a broker. I don't have this restriction with other countries. Lightspeed is not a registered broker in Canada so I can't offer accounts there. It means you have less choice with less competition.
There are no live internet prices for options, there is no education-all of that is American-and most brokers want a minimum account size of $50,000
