Based on what I know now, I would start to sell around 16.10 When it dropped to 15.85, traders got scared but I was buying. I bought 65000 shares. in the range of 15.83 to 15.90.
thats a million dollars worth of stock... umm yeah.. i'm along way from this transaction size.. my account is 20k .. grrrr..
I don't have a date, but it's just a matter of time before your two accounts are of similar value. The market does not have a history of rewarding reckless behavior over time. I'm guessing he has not been in the investment world very long.

well you have to understand that putmaster sells vol in single names where he is willing to hold/ but doesn't want to really.. and believes anyone selling premium on any scale without it being more then delta covered is going to bust..
This is an issue of over concentration of capital in one stock. Even if it were one "sector" and not one stock, that would still be reckless. One stock is beyond reckless. It's one thing if someone doesn't have the funds to diversify. That is a reasonable excuse. There is no excuse for having that much money, and not diversifying. Back during the 2008 - 2009 market meltdown, I had a friend who over concentrated in just one casino stock. He was also on excessive margin, and got weekly margin calls, until he ran out of time, waiting for his stock to recover. The way he ended up killing himself, was to take a bunch of drugs to make himself sleepy, and then drown himself in the river near his home. This is not a personal attack. This is constructive criticism.
