Option Newsletters?

I noticed there were a few discussions about options newsletters, mostly with negative reviews. What exactly is their business model? Is it that they suggest actual trades to you or just offer you general ideas along the lines "skew in Apple is cheap, might be a good time to buy some"? If it is the actual trade ideas, do they actually provide an explanation for the trades?

PS. It feels to me that there is room out there for a "smart" option advisory service that would be mostly dedicated to education and research/modeling, rather then simply suggesting trades.

some recommend actual trades based on technical or fundamental analysis of the stock, based on the speculation of the market trend.
Some also check option activities and follow that like optionmonster.
