I've placed an order to sell an AIG put. I'm using TWS through Interactive Brokers. The pop-up I got confirming the order details entry had a checkmark showing this it's a day order. Regardless of this fact, should I cancel the order myself at the end of the day to be safe? I don't want the order to be continued tomorrow. Thanks J
you should be able to see if expires today, most do unless you changed the good till date to something else. I know ameritrade and etrade default to expire the same day they are ordered if they have not executed
NO NO NO They will charge a cancellation fee. You can see tomorrow, before the opening if the order is still active. Mark
